Community is a compilation of authentic relationships. These relationships are what connect, ground and uplift us.
This month we’re honoring authentic connections which is fitting because I’ve spent the last few months working on building community. I’ve moved to a new city and I’ve been intentional about forming and maintaining real relationships. I’ve done this through showing up when I can, checking in, writing down things to remember, genuine conversations, and most importantly by being myself. If I showed up as anyone else the connection wouldn’t be authentic.
People, especially you, can always feel when the vibes are real. Take time to nurture your authentic relationships and if you feel you’re lacking, then it’s time to go outside and make some real connections.

OUR STORY
3 Time Grammy Nominee & Platinum Selling Recording artist Olu AKA "JOHNNY VENUS" took a 4 week pilgrimage to Bali, Indonesia after a tumultuous 2023. As an entrepreneur and entertainment artist, the business, distractions, and constant need for achievement, validation, and drive for success negatively impacted his mental peace and his perception of the true meaning of life. While in Bali he partook in a 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training. His goal was to reset, release, recommit to his true self, and to gain the tools of meditation, yoga, mindfulness, breath work. With these he knew he would always be able to create his COMPXSS and always find his way in life.
"I want to share this wealth of knowledge and continue to learn from other practitioners. In this life we're always students always learning more about ourselves and the human race through exploration, community and experience. I grew up in a neighborhood where Yoga, Meditation and Global Travel and connections was only a dream. I've been blessed to be able to travel and learn and share who I am, offering that little nudge of transformation so many people need. I want to provide access to these healing technologies and cultural experiences to the same beautiful diverse world that makes up my fan base.
